Before mounting the dash cam, insert the included 64GB microSD card into the slot on the side of the camera. Ensure the logo side of the SD card is facing the button on the Dash Cam, with the blank side facing the lens.
“NOTE: Please take your time and align the card carefully with the SD Card holder. Do not rush.”
Push until it clicks into place. To remove, press it again and it will pop out.
Step 2: Find the Right Position
Pick a clean spot on your windscreen that gives a clear view of the road without blocking your driving vision. Make sure the camera lens is centered, and the power cable can reach the 12V socket easily.
Step 3: Mount the Dash Cam
Peel the adhesive from the mount and press the dash cam firmly onto the windscreen.
Step 4: Route the Power Cable
Tuck the cable neatly along the roof liner, A-pillar, and down to the center console. Avoid routing through airbag areas.
Recommended route:
Across the top of the windscreen
Down the passenger side (A-pillar)
Under the glove box to the 12V socket
Step 5: Plug into 12V Power
Plug the included car charger into your vehicle’s 12V outlet. The dash cam will power on when the car is turned on. No hardwiring or fuse installation needed.

Turn on your car to power the dash cam.
Open your phone’s Wi-Fi settings.
Connect to the dash cam (HICVR_xxxx).
Enter the default password: 12345678

Step 7: Adjust Camera Angle
Use the live feed in the Golook app to line up the lens for the best road coverage. For video settings:
Set Loop Recording - we recommend 3 minutes.
Note: If the Live feed is not showing please enable Aeroplane mode - data connection may interfere with the Dash Cams Wi-Fi in some cases.
Step 8 (Optional): Rear Camera Install
If you purchased the rear camera:
Mount it on the rear window (interior only).
Plug the cable into the front camera’s rear port.
Tuck the cable along the vehicle's roof liner and trim.
Note: The rear cam draws power from the front unit and records to the same SD card.
Step 9: You’re Good to Go 🚦
Once everything’s connected and positioned, you’re all set. The camera will record automatically while driving and save important footage.
